About the The Jobsite

View Slideshow on The Jobsite 2023 (May update)

In 2021, The Jobsite utility service providers worked collaboratively to safely install 900’ of 2” pipe and conduit. This buried infrastructure set the stage for The Jobsite 2023: Mapping the Future of Damage Prevention. The Jobsite assembles the technology and methods to reduce underground utility strikes, all in one place, at one time, for the benefit of all stakeholders in the form of free, scheduled hands-on presentations.

The Jobsite is located at the midpoint of Lot K and Lot E, just outside Broadbent Arena and features a relaxed, peer-to-peer learning environment promoting a positive, hands-on approach to learning new methods and technologies. Damage prevention is always a primary focus.

New! The Jobsite Educational Sessions

The Utility Expo website listing of The Jobsite educational sessions is planned for mid-April. Sessions will include 30 minute to two hour time slots for The Jobsite sponsors. While educational sessions are scheduled, hands-on demos can be performed anytime and anywhere within The Jobsite. Expo attendees must register on The Utility Expo website.

The Jobsite will be a filmed event, so the education provided can be viewed by an even larger audience than that at The Utility Expo.

Sample Session Themes

  • Realtime maps today lowers utility construction costs tomorrow
