Exceeding the Call to Duty

Across multiple industries, women have faced some unique challenges navigating the currents of social and cultural change that have opened up many new and evolving career possibilities—some difficult for them to break into in the past. They have not only succeeded, but exceeded the call to duty in many cases, putting to rest long held stereotypes about what types of roles women can excel in, both physically and intellectually. Jennifer Dolman has been in the utility locating, one call and construction fields for over a decade, and was willing to share her story and path towards the success she takes pride in today, leading efforts in damage prevention, keeping her crews and the public safe.
